Kelly Marie Sheerin is an upcoming graduate educator and artist, completing her degree in Fine Art Painting & Education at the National College of Art & Design. She is a dedicated and enthusiastic advocate of art and visual education.

Her artwork in recent years has focused on subject matters surrounding the Catholic church in Ireland and it's relationship with women as well as her own personal relationship with religion.

Although her specialised discipline is paint, she has explored sculptural and photographical elements heavily throughout her work, stating that it is the art she wants to make that tells her what medium it requires, not her that decides the medium of the art. This has lead to a well rounded and holistic practice that carries through to her teaching.
